Good Planet Foods, a plant-based food company in the US, recently introduced its new ‘Shredded Cheddar’ cheese. This new addition joins an extensive list of plant-based shredded cheeses from Good Planet Foods that include ‘Mozzarella’, ‘Smoked Mozzarella’, and ‘Parmesan’.

Made from refined coconut oil and plant starches that help create the texture of dairy cheese, Good Planet Foods cheeses are free from dairy, nuts, soy, eggs and wheat. Good Planet Foods is also certified vegan, gluten-free, allergen-free, kosher, halal, and non-GMO project verified.

Good Planet Foods is expanding its food service distribution to include both its plant-based Shredded and Sliced cheeses. Currently, Whole Foods Market’s Pacific Northwest, Northern California, and Southern Pacific regions use Good Planet Foods slices in its deli.
